‘Tis the season for apples. Apple picking, apple crisp, apple pie, apple… prints!
I thoroughly enjoyed this activity myself. Before beginning, I scrolled through Pinterest to get some ideas flowing.
Last time I did apple prints with my little ones I just cut the apple in half. I saw some examples like the one below that suggest to carve a little notch into the apple to act as a handle. This definitely helps those little hands to grasp and stamp more easily.
Supply some paint for the little ones to press the apple into and let them stamp on a piece of paper, paper bags, or whatever materials you’ve got to work with.
